The Queensland horse currently running in Melbourne, Temple of Boom a five year old gelding by Piccolo, is our selection for this month.
Temple of Boom is owned by the Eureka Stud Syndicate (Colin and Scott McAlpine), Paulette Gollan, Ashley Gamble, Jim Riddley, Brian Siemsen, Andrew Dunemann and Jeremy Schloss and is trained by Tony Gollan.
The talented gelding had his first Group win down the straight at Flemington on August 6 in the Aurie’s Star Group 3.
Tony is setting Temple of Boom for the Sallinger on Derby Day during the Melbourne Carnival and we wish him and all the connections the very best for a successful Melbourne spring campaign.
