Eagle Farm Meetings Transferred
22-Dec-2009: Following an inspection of remedial work to the outside section of the Eagle Farm course proper this afternoon, QRL and BRC have taken the decision to transfer the below meetings from Eagle Farm to Doomben.

· Monday 28 December 2009 (Rail – 7 metres from the 800m to the 400m and 5 metres the remainder)

· Saturday 2 January 2010 (Rail – 9 metres from the 800m to the 400m and 7 metres the remainder)

Although the remedial work had been undertaken last week the track had not responded as initially forecast due to limited rainfall and extremely hot weather conditions. It was agreed that in the best interest of the track that racing be transferred to Doomben.

The following amendments have been made to the racing programs:

Monday 28 December 2009
1MW 1600m – to 1615m
0MW 1200m – no change
Class 6 Plate 1400m – to 1350m
Class 6 CG&E 1000m – to 1010m
Class 6 F&M 1000m – to 1010m
Maiden Plate 1600m – 1615m
3yo Hcp 1500m – to 1615m
2yo Hcp 1000m to 1010m

Saturday 2 January 2010
Open Hcp 1500m – to 1615m
Class 4 Hcp 1000m – to 1010m
Class 3 Hcp 1600m – to 1615m
