Export Award for Magic Millions
07-Oct-2009: Magic Millions' record of winning prestigious business awards continued on Wednesday when the company was honoured at the 2009 Australian British Export Excellence Awards.

The famous Gold Coast based thoroughbred sales company won the Agribusiness Award category of the Australian Chamber of Commerce Export Excellence Awards.

The award was presented to Magic Millions Marketing Manager, Annie McDonald, by the Hon. Stephen Robertson MP, Minister for Natural Resources, Mines & Energy & Minister for Trade.

It is the second time in two years that Magic Millions has won the prestigious award which recognises the leading exporters to Britain.

"We are thrilled to have been honoured with this latest award," Magic Millions Managing Director David Chester said.

"Over the past couple of years we've won five important Export Awards and we're very proud of this achievement."

"Magic Millions is Australia's premier thoroughbred exporter and while being recognised with the level and professionalism of this process, we are thrilled with the success our clients have had with their purchases.

"Most international buyers realise the great value with buying from Magic Millions Sales and this is why they keep coming back sale after sale, year after year," Chester added.

"We are very much looking forward to hosting a large number of visitors from abroad at our National Horses in Training Sale at the Gold Coast later this month."

As well as winning this same award in 2008, Magic Millions made it back to back wins at the Queensland Export Awards in the highly contested Sports, Events and Tourism category.

Also in 2007 the company won the Trades, Professions and Services Award at the Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards.
